Product Overview
The Reference Gas Filter and Frame M-CAIOV is an assembly of a filter and frame. It is used in M-CAIOV gas module which monitor gases. The frame is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene-polycarbonate (ABS-PC) thus offering superior strength and heat resistance of PC and the flexibility of ABS. It is connected to gas module. The filtration of chemicals and water used in a medical device is essential to ensure patient's safety. The filter is made of High-density polyethylene material which has a good dust retention property. The gas filters trap dirt, bacteria and water accumulated by the systems. These are also used in medical system inlets to prevent fluid condensation and avoid smoke from contaminating the system. The joints of the assembly are glued by loctite 414 and are leak-proof. The gas filter and frame M-CAIOV prevents the reference gas from contamination while in M-CAIOV gas module. This assembly can be used with GE's E Series Parameter Modules and S/5 Anesthesia Monitor.
